News: Zenith’s Chronomaster Original Looks Pretty In Pink With NEW Model
Colourful dials are everywhere these days. We’ve seen an array of deep green and blue ones in recent years, as well as neon orange ones popularised by dive watches for their legibility underwater. Pink, however, is a colour that’s more unusual—apart from that classic salmon-pink shade that has been around for decades. The latest brand to embrace pink—proper pink—is Zenith, and it’s done so for a very good reason.
Created in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, this new Chronomaster Original’s eye-catching dial represents the breast cancer awareness ribbon, which was popularised by the American breast cancer organisation, Susan G. Komen, in the 1990s.
This pink sunray-patterned dial makes a subtle statement while sitting pretty on the 38mm stainless-steel case and bracelet, and features three chronograph sub dials and a date window between 4 and 5 o’clock. What’s more, the watch is water-resistant to 50m, so you’re all clear if you get caught in the rain or fancy a dip in the pool.
Powering this piece is the automatic Zenith El Primero 3600 calibre which boasts 35 jewels, 36,000 vph and a power reserve of 60 hours. It also features a striking new star-shaped oscillating weight with satin finishings—fancy, huh?
